When you call or arrive, you’ll likely be welcomed by the warm and friendly voice of Julia, our office manager. During your visit, Julie, Ashley, Whitley and Melissa are dedicated to providing exceptional education and thorough preventive hygiene care. Lauren and Sandy work closely alongside Dr. Benton and Dr. Deluke, offering skilled assistance during procedures and preventive treatments.

OFFICE MANAGER

Julia joined our team January of 2021 and graduated from UNH with her Masters in Business Administration in May of 2024. She is the first person to welcome you when you come into the office. She is the person to go to with any insurance questions.

“My favorite part of my job is interacting with our patients, whether it be answering insurance questions, talking them through an upcoming procedure or just catching up on daily life! In my free time, I like to go to the gym and also spend time with family and friends!'

JULIE

Registered Dental Hygienist
​
Julie graduated from Dental Hygiene school in 1994 and has been with Dr. Benton since 2016. When she isn't working, she enjoys gardening, canning, boating, and fishing.
​
"I love getting to know my patients and seeing improvements in their oral health. In my free time, I love spending it with my two rescue dogs and my family, especially my five grandkids."
ASHLEY

​Ashley graduated from NHTI's Dental Hygiene program in 2010 and was Dr. Benton's very first hygienist when he opened the practice in 2015.
​
"I love gardening and spending time with my husband, our two kids, and two dogs; Betty and Chet."
WHITLEY

​​Whitley graduated from NHTI's Dental Hygiene program in May of 2023. She then joined us in July of 2023 and has been such an amazing addition to our team! Whitley has shown to be super detail oriented and has become favored by so many of our patients.
​
In my free time, I like to spend time with my husband, our two kids and I LOVE to catch up on my favorite reality TV shows!
MELISSA

Registered Dental Hygienist

Melissa graduated from the Vermont Technical College Dental Hygiene Program in 2009. She joined our team in 2020 and has worked with us part-time since. Melissa is very soft spoken and does an amazing job helping patients feel calm in the chair. She takes pride in educating patients on good oral hygiene.

"In my free time, I enjoy hiking, skiing, camping and beach days with my husband, two daughters and our dog."

​Lauren completed a Dental Assisting program in 2015 and has worked chair-side along dentists for 7 years. Lauren started at Benton Family Dental in 2022 and her go-getter attitude has made such a great addition to our team!
​
'In my free time, I like to enjoy nature as much as possible. I love hiking with my daughter and relaxing by the lake up north.'
SANDY

Dental Assistant

Sandy is the newest member of our team; she joined us in January of 2025. She fits in so perfectly that it feels like she has been here for years! Sandy is new to the dental field but has caught on very quickly. She has been a great addition to the office!

“I am super excited to be here and am very eager meet all of our patients. In my free time, I enjoy skiing, snowboarding, golfing and spending time at the beach with my son!”
