Our office implements specific scheduling to ensure the Invisalign process is seamless for you.

Appointment 1:

Your first appointment will be quick and easy. We will use a scanner, such as the iTero® digital scanning system to create fast, precise 3D digital images of your teeth. Dr. Benton and his assistant will then take photos of your teeth. The combination of the 3D scan and photographs will help create the best treatment plan possible. The scan and the photos are then sent to Invisalign.

Appointment 2:

Within a week or so, we will receive a precise treatment plan from Invisalign. We will bring you back into the office to review all the information, including the exact movements of your teeth and how long treatment will last. You will leave that day with all the costs associated with the Invisalign case.

At check-out, we will review deposits and the payment schedule.

Appointment 3:

Yay! We can begin treatment! At this visit, small composite “buttons” will be placed on the teeth described in the plan. You’ll leave the office that day with the first few sets of aligners. You should wear these for 20-22 hours per day for best results. It is important to remember to remove aligners when eating, brushing and flossing. Be sure to put them back in after!

Appointments to follow:

Your next few appointments will be short and simple! Dr. Benton will evaluate the movement to make sure things are moving correctly. We will give you the next 2 or 3 aligners to wear before you leave.

At the end of treatment, you’ll receive Vivera® retainers. Vivera retainers are custom-made using the same state-of-the-art technology as Invisalign clear aligners.
